Panama is sad because most foreigners live better than many locals. I think too many panamanians like to "Suck up" the foreigners. And those who like to "suck it up" are most the rich people of Panama who want the foreigners money to become richer.

It looks like little USA down there, I did post a bad review but would like retract it. They have everything, cheap meat, good resturants, fresh fruit, I ate a banana & it was like you had never had a banana before. Wonderful, Mc donalds, burger king, KFC, freindly people, No-one bothered me & everyone wanted to be my friend. a little hot & humid, rainy season is great not hot, a little rain, partly cloudy which blocks the heat. Like florida in summer. No jobs for Americans. But I love it.

I have been to Panama several times, I had friends there & what I saw was a tropical slum, yes very rich people & very poor in all the streets, every traffic light has vendors knocking on your car windows, very dangerous place, not safe. I had body guards while I was there. People are robbed & killed there on a daily basis. Police are corrupt there too. They want to extort money from tourists for safety. I was so scared there. No safety.

yo soy Panameño residente en USA y definitivamente PANAMA es un PARAISO, ahora cuando llegue a este pais me pusieron mil y una traba,y la de taxes!! wow sin contar la cantidad de racistas que encuentro cada dia….un panameño de clase media que quiere venir a USA tiene que bajar mil santos y pedirle a PAPA Dios que no le nieguen la 'visa' y escuchado de muuuuuchos casos que le sacan una corta y una larga para no darcela incluso a ancianos que tienen años de ver hijos, nietos etc….sin asco!!
